Wang discovered that, in Canada, people have constitutionally protected rights to a fair trial, meaning publicly funded legal representation. She believed regardless of one’s financial status, everyone has the right to justice, a fair trial, and a right to access.

Wang supports the aspect of Canada’s justice system as the executive director of people, culture & communications for Legal Aid Alberta.
